1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how TechKhedut Inc. (“TechKhedut”, “we”, “our” or “us”) handles information when you use Live Earth Map: GPS Satellite (the “App”) on iOS or Android. It applies only to the App; our website is covered by the TechKhedut website privacy policy.
The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

3. Information we collect
Information processed to provide features
- Location data — precise or approximate location, when you allow it, to show your position on the map, provide directions, nearby places, parking, weather, air quality, altitude, speed and GPS camera stamps.
- Search queries — places, cities, coordinates and cameras you search for, so we can return results.
- Camera and photos — images you capture with the GPS Camera. Photos are saved to your device; we do not upload them.
- Sensor readings — compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, light and proximity readings used by the measuring tools. Exported sensor files are created on your device and shared only when you choose to.
- Vehicle data — if you connect an OBD-II adapter, engine readings such as RPM and gear are read to display them in the RPM Meter.
- Content you create — saved cities, saved parking spots, notes, favourite cameras and settings, stored on your device.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage information — device model, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, feature usage and in-app events, collected through analytics tools.
- Diagnostics — crash logs and performance data that help us find and fix problems.
- Advertising identifiers — in the free version, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) where permitted, used by our advertising partners. See Advertising.
Information you give us
If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to respond to you.
4. Device permissions
The App asks for a permission only when you use a feature that needs it. You can grant, deny or revoke any permission in your device settings; features that depend on a denied permission will not work, but the rest of the App will.

5. How we use information
- To provide and operate App features you request, such as maps, directions, live cams, weather and measurements.
- To maintain, secure and improve the App, including diagnosing crashes and understanding which features are used.
- To show advertising in the free version and to measure ad performance.
- To manage Pro subscription access and restore purchases.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not use location or health data to build advertising profiles.
6. Service providers & third parties
We share information only as needed with service providers that help us run the App, under contracts or terms that limit how they use it:
- Map, search, directions and place data providers — receive your location and search queries to return maps, routes, street imagery and nearby places.
- Weather and air-quality data providers — receive your location or chosen city to return forecasts and AQI readings.
- Live camera sources — live cams are streamed from third-party camera operators; your device connects to their streams when you watch.
- Analytics and crash-reporting providers — receive device, usage and diagnostic information.
- Advertising partners — see Advertising.
- Apple and Google — process in-app subscriptions and may provide related transaction data.
When you use Share Location or share a photo or export, the information goes to the app or person you choose, under their privacy terms.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
7. Advertising
The free version of the App displays ads served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location and ad-interaction data to deliver, limit and measure ads and, where you allow it, to personalise them.
- iOS: ads use your advertising identifier across apps only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Settings › Privacy › Ads.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice in the App's settings.
Under some US state laws, using identifiers for targeted advertising may be treated as “sharing”. You can opt out using the device settings above. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.
8. Subscriptions & payments
Pro subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your card or bank details. Apple or Google may share limited transaction information with us, such as a purchase token, product, status and renewal date, so we can unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
9. Health data
If you connect Apple Health (HealthKit) or Android Health Connect to view blood oxygen readings, the App reads that data only to display it to you on your device. We do not upload health data to our servers, sell it, use it for advertising or share it with third parties. You can disconnect access at any time in Apple Health or Health Connect settings.
The Blood Oxygen tool is for general wellness information only and is not a medical device.
10. Storage & retention
- Saved places, parking spots, notes, favourites, settings and exported files are stored locally on your device. Deleting them in the App or uninstalling the App removes them.
- Analytics and crash data are kept by our providers only for as long as needed for the purposes above, in line with their retention settings, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and for our records.
11. Your choices & rights
- Permissions: turn location, camera, Bluetooth, microphone, health and notification access on or off in your device settings.
- Ads: manage tracking and ad personalisation as described in Advertising, or upgrade to Pro.
- Local data: delete saved items in the App or uninstall the App.
- Your rights: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@techkhedut.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
12. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International transfers
TechKhedut is based in India, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, let you know in the App.
